In this one-shot in English of the RPG Paranoia, Peter will introduce you to Alpha Complex, a sprawling underground dystopia — er, utopia — run by Friend Computer for the happiness of its citizens.
In other RPGs you cooperate with your fellow players and the game master to create a heroic tale of adventure together.
Paranoia isn’t like that. In Paranoia you play the role of troubleshooters on a mission from the Computer to seek out and eliminate troublesome elements threatening Alpha Complex — such as communist traitors, mutants, and secret-society members. But what if one of the other trouble-shooters — or perhaps even you — were suspected of being a communist? Or a mutant? Or a mutant communist?
Stay alert! Trust no-one! Keep your laser handy!
